RE2 - Claire B Randomizer update

Hello people.

Finally the Claire B side is done and it includes the following:

- An option to play as Elza Walker. She can use all of Claire's weapons + the Beretta and the Flamethrower.

- An option to enable Birkin types as a regular enemy. It has a limit of 1 enemy per room.
G1 boss fight is also randomized. If the enemy doesn't show, just reenter the room, like the RE1 rando. Mr.X spawns are also limited to 1 per room, and licker spawn chance in general was reduced.

- Item randomization adds an extra 1 slot weapon to the starting inventory+some handgun bullets.
All Tyrant drops are also randomized, including the Rocket Launcher drop. Those will never be key items, but there is a small chance to get a random weapon.
The Up panel key was set to spawn after the medal section (never before it).

To play the mod, extract the file as usual, and use the save files that the randomizer will generate. For detailed instructions, check the readme file included.

Note: the old Claire A and Leon B sides were not updated yet. I want to make sure this one is stable before moving on those.

Hi Patrick, thanks. In Claire scenarios the item in the RPD 3rd floor will be static to prevent a crash later. The rest, I'll check later. If you find more rooms where G4 respawns let me know. That was not intended. The 4 updated scenarios should be finished for Tuesday.

Hey there Duke! Randos with this build have been going pretty good. I did have some potential issues with seed 50154. -G4 respawns in yellow hallway after zombies come through window. When I killed it prior to the zombie cutscene he didn't come back, but afterward he wouldn't stop spawning (he gets stuck and can't go down the hallway too) -G3 visible briefly but becomes invisible in the warehouse before seeing Leon after he's shot. He can still hit you while invisible. Also just a curiosity thing that isn't a huge deal, is the blue stone half up in the place where you use a gear tied to an event in coding? I'm just assuming so since it has been there in pretty much all of my claire randos. Otherwise great work as always! Really looking forward to be able to do all 4 scenarios with the updated randomizations.

Hmmm that's a weird glitch. If weapons cause problems there I can remove those from that spot. The Elza bug is known and there isn't an easy fix for this one. In vanilla game you are not supposed to have the sidepack before meeting Sherry in the basement so it will force the costume change there.

Hi again so I've been extensively testing this especially when switching to sherry and I've noticed 2 things: for one if you have Elza's alternative outfit (RPD Armour) it will disappear when switching back from Sherry. Also If sherry finds a weapon in the water plant and throws it back to Elza/Claire it will completely delete all of items in inventory SEED: 36669
