Down below you'll find the updated files for the current randomizer patch (from November 9).
This version fixes more softlocks found/reported, and also some functions in the interface that were not working.
To make some of the rooms work, some cutscene events and door triggers will be disabled, to guarantee that the rooms are always connected correctly, so if that happens then it's intended.
Note: it's recommended to delete the old RE4_PC_Randomizer folder before installing the door rando patches. If you want to keep your settings, before deleting anything, make a copy of your Settings.cfg file in a separate folder, then copy it back to the rando folder after.

Hi. If you see the white/grey screen when you enter a new room, that means the x3daudio dll file was not correctly copied. This is why the bug happens and also why the items were not random for you. To fix it, you'll need to copy that file. You'll find in the randomizer zip file/Bin32 folder the x3daudio1_7.dll and ini files. Please copy these two to the Bin32 folder of your game and try again. If your antivirus blocks it you'll have to restore/permit this in its settings. Btw I'm always here to help so if you still have any trouble with it you can send another message and I'll respond.

2026-01-19 16:09:25 +0000 UTCSorry for my english, I really like and have respect for your work but i have some issue with this mod and bearlly can not play since I downloaded it. I desesperately solved the X3Daudio problem, but : I met random crash; i have the "0x11c7" errore message 50% of time and have to resart my pc to solve it, sometime i enter a room( not always the same room) and it's all white without texture, option, map and invotory still work but i can see nothing in game and have to restart another seed, with all of that, i never have the chance to go further chapter 1-2 in multiple attemps; and maybe the most important, item randomizer don't work and don't change items outside boxes or enemy loot, it worked for only a couple of try/seed but 90% of the time items are not random. I was playing the free version from ModDB and everithing was ok, i payd for the full version for support and have more option for the game like items randomizer and i cannot play the game anymore basicly :') can you help me to find a solution or have some explication? on this point the 3 dollars isn't worthed, i begin to pay and cannot enjoy the mod or simply play my game anymore

2026-01-19 03:20:24 +0000 UTCHi, if the game is crashing when opening it, try closing all programs open in the background then try again. If it crashes after costume selection, you can copy the file (once) "RE4_PC_Randomizer\Tools\HDProjectTextures\0f000001.pack.lfs" to the "Bio4\ImagePackHD" folder , overwriting the existing file, then try again.

2026-01-14 00:10:42 +0000 UTCI recently got a new PC. When I booted up the rando it worked. When I went to generate a new seed the game wouldn’t even load. It would crash right away. I reinstalled the game and it ran. I reinstalled the HD mod and it ran. But when I reinstalled the rando it just crashed. It happened on the newest patch and one from November 2024. I had the newest one on the exception list for Windows Defender. Anyone have any ideas how to get them working again?
