Tinkering the iMac

By the way, I decided to buy a "new/old" computer, which I am refurbishing and repairing on occasion. Relax, not with Patreon money. The choice fell on a 27-inch iMac from mid-2011, in which the graphics card died (the laminate of the chip case began to peel and fall off). I managed to replace this card with something more powerful (Nvidia Quadro K3100m), but problems arose in the form of problems with booting the computer (it does not respond to pressing the power button, but it boots up at some attempt). I also expanded the RAM from 4GB to 32GB. I still plan to replace the CPU from i5-2500s to i7-2600s. The computer will be slightly weaker than my current hardware, but the quality of renders will not change. If only because I moved the rendering of finished images from the computer to Google's Colabolatory service, which significantly reduced the rendering time (from 2h to 37 min).

P.S: By the way, you can find out what language is my native one by the stickers on the case :)

Keep your fingers crossed for me that the restoration project for that iMac will succeed.
