Apparently some other lesser known terms for caterpillars are “Wooly Bear, Tractor, Leafworm, Nympha, Froghopper, Lymantria, and Canker.” Maybe an amalgamate of certain parts could work? Like “Nyampha” (for a cat pun, lol) or something more goofy, like “Wooker”, (sounds like “worker.”) Just some shots in the dark, eh?

I *think* the scientific name is “Mycalesis gotama” although admittedly I only looked long enough to see what this creature looked like 🤔 Perhaps you can make a name out of that like Tama or Myca.
