I am modeling my house with realistic measurements to ensure that nothing looks disproportionate in VR. I am going for a cozy mexican themed house since I'm a big fan of those kinds of houses. That means that there will be lots of bright colors, use of adobe, tiles, and wood. Video above shows a short flythrough of the current bathroom model. There are still lots of models missing and details to add including curtains, plants, a mirror, and ornaments. I think the toilet could use a size boost and the clawfoot tub could use a slight smooth out. I took the time to make props using the Array/Curves modifier and also sculpted the clawfeet for the tub. The ivy metal pattern was made using some tricks I've learn with the skin modifier, smooth vertices, and sharp proportional mode scaling. Mastering all options of the select similar/regions command is a must for saving time UV-unwrapping and keeping consistency in your meshes.
One common trend in mexican architecture is having circular or rounded ceilings.

Later on I will put a nice tile texture and rim it with a brown adobe filling.
