This is the last beta before the full release on the 13th. This beta is to test out the new handholding mechanics. The scene has been set to a placeholder scene so you can test this mechanic (the full environment will be a better surprise this way as well).

There are also new controls for the player.

Mouse+Keyboard Controls:

You will walk slowly unless you hold SHIFT to run. You can also hold Q or E to extend either your left or right hand. R to wave to Shinobu.

VR Controls:

When in VR, you will walk slowly if you just touch the touchpad for movement unless you press and hold the touchpad to run. The direction of the trackpad movement only changes if you change your trackpad touch position. Meaning you can maintain the same movement direction and look around at the same time. Teleportation movement does not yet have anything special. You can't really handhold and walk around with her in this control style. She will just slingshot towards you whenever you teleport.

Remember you can change between VR/Mouse+Keyboard by going into the in game menu with "P".

A scenario of what you can do to test this beta:

1.) Get familiar with the controls first.

2.) Grab her right or left hand.

3.) Pull her hard all over the place.

4.) Pull her slowly for a bit to trigger the "walk along my side" mechanic

5.) Walk around with her by your side.

6.) Report bugs or suggest improvements.

The other behaviors that Shinobu has are still active while handholding. Meaning you can pat her head or kiss her WHILE moving and handholding. This needs more testing! Please go ahead and test. Report bugs at panainodev@gmail.com or at the discord on the home page.
