Finished Handholding and v0.3 Release Trailer

I have finished the handholding logic and added support for holding two hands and threw in the remaining animations. The behavior for two hands is slightly different as it will not pull her in one direction. She will simply be pulled towards the median outward vector between both hands.

Speaking of pulling, I managed to fix the stuttering mentioned in the last dev post. The problem was that her shoulder changed positions in her run animation while being pulled, this changed the location of the pull constraint that I attached from her shoulder to my hand for the pulling. And so because of this it stuttered back and forth trying to keep up. Here's the output of the raw pull values as I ran in a straight line with her:

Notice how it sometimes jumps from 3 to 6 and to 5. These are the jolts caused by the constraint attachment positions changing. I fixed this by temporally smoothing out these values. Instead of applying the most recent value every frame, I stored the past 5 values and found a smooth interpolating average. Thereby creating a consistent value (~4 in this case). Only downside is that this value is 5 frames late. But it isn't noticeable (0.17 sec late).

Something I encountered that I did not give much thought yet is how handholding will work when using teleportation controls in VR. I have yet to test out handhold constraints with teleportation.

I also tweaked Shinobu's head proportions since for a long time it felt too fat. The following is the before and after.

Her ears now pop out a bit more and her hair is a bit poofier.

Next on the development plate is bugfixing, polishing, and perhaps some short surprise features. Since I am nearing a major release date, I will not be implementing anything big to avoid long and tedious logic reworks and to ensure everything is working properly for the public release.
