Finished Tummy Poking and Hired Voice Actress!

I finished tummy poking. You can see its current full glory in the video above. If you poke her once she will simply crouch and protect her stomach but if you keep poking her stomach she will start laughing. This can be used to make her happy when she is angry. She dynamically reacts and protects the side that you poke for added realism.

Near the end of the video you can see a revised feature schedule for v0.4. As you can see I did not include "playing catch" or "weather". I removed playing catch since I thought that was a pretty boring activity. Weather I actually just forgot to add in but I will at the very least start it before the v0.4 release. This will include rain and thunder that can potentially make her scared. Headpats will undergo a revision as it was actually the very first behavior I implemented into the game, and thus it's really outdated and clunky.

I am as of right now working on a build for Beta v0.4b which will be available for the Supporter tier patrons this Friday (late at night). This will include poking for you to test out and provide feedback.

As for voice talent, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that the actress from the voice line sample from the previous post was not available to fulfill my request. The good news is that I was offered a just as good replacement voice actress and she has just confirmed her schedule for us! Confirmation email:

Meet Higashi Megumi, who will voice my Shinobu for the v0.5 update release. You can check out some samples of her voice here: http://voice-koesen.com/actor/higashi.php . Strictly speaking she almost sounds like Shinobu but her wordless voice lines will be more than enough for what this project needs. This is also okay because as stated way earlier, this project is not meant to be a 100% canonical recreation of Shinobu. Merely my ideal headcanon. All in all, I'm really excited for what v0.5 is going to be like. I even snuck in some voice lines for when Shinobu is bathing! Stay tuned.
