Development status + important info for 5$ Tier
Added 2022-09-27 13:53:49 +0000 UTCThe last chapter is completely finished. As I said, the release is scheduled for early October, but the exact date is not yet available. This is due to the fact that I had a change of plans for Steam. Previously, I planned to release Going Rogue on Steam after I released the first chapter of the new game. However, I recently discovered that the sooner I create a Steam page, the more wishlists I can get, which is very important for a good launch. So now I plan to launch the game's page on Steam (without the ability to make a purchase) and add a link to Steam in the final version. This is very important for future sales, so I can't release the update before Steam puts up my page. I already sent all the approval info to Steam, but now the timing is up to them. I hope one week will be enough, but I can't say for sure.
Also, there is important news for the $5 Tier Patrons. Since the next chapter is the last one, Going Rogue is moving into the completed game stage. On Steam, I plan to sell it for $10. On Itch, it's also $10. So I am closing the $5 Tier to new subscribers. Those who are currently subscribed and have supported me throughout development will keep their subscription and get access to the final chapter in the usual timeframe after early access. I'll give about a week for everyone to download the update and then make it available only to 10$+ subscribers and reopen the opportunity to become a $5 Patron. That seems fair to me. Those who supported development will be able to get the finished game at a lower price, and everyone else will have access to it at the same price for everyone else.
