One Year Creator Reflection Post

Whaaa? It's been a year already 😳!?! Man, time flies when you're having a good time. But here we are, one year of me being a creator. On the March of 2020, I was very bored and it was a time where some of the my personal favorite creators I admired (such as IamTheTetsu, EndlessRain, butre3004, bmtbguy, and others) took a break around this time (and of course, COVID). So I figured, hmm, I guess I could try making my own stuff." 

For a month, I played around with DAZ Studio along with getting some clothes, characters, and environments to start working on my first comic: Growing Love Part 1. On April 15th of 2020, I had officially released Growing Love: Part 1 on Gumroad at midnight and went to sleep. I'm not going to lie, I figured no one was going to buy it for the first few weeks. Wrong, I made about 21 sales within the first 5 days of publishing it. 

Without these 21 people, I probably would not have continued working on 3D stuff. So, to those 21 people, a special thank you. And to everyone, thank you for the continued support for me and the series/comics you like to see!

Growing Love: Part 1

Aw man. This was one hell of a project. Going straight into DAZ Studio with no experience except a few classes with other 3D modeling programs. I ran into so many issues I didn't know how to fix. The biggest issue I ran into was running GPU memory and crashes. During this time, if you exceeded your GPU VRAM, your computer would unexpectedly shut down. I originally planned for five characters but I was limited to three.

Growing Love: Part 2

GL:P1 went wayyy better than I had anticipated. You guys even asked me when will the next come out 🤯; motivation‼ I found a way to cram more characters in. Turns out that I've been using 4K and 8K textures that I didn't need. Why have 8K textures on a trash can that's far away? I'm learning and improving!

Growing Love: Part 3

I tried a lot of things I've never done before with Growing Love Part 3. I did a technique to save on GPU memory; billboarding (the billboards in the Gym scene 😆); used an AI denoiser to make renders faster and remove the render butterflies; and used an awesome scene, and made over 400 images! This was intended to be the end of the Growing Love series but some showed interest in the continuation of this series.

Growing Love: Part 4

No, it wasn't as big nor as action-packed as Growing Love: Part 3 was. Here I am trying to pull strings back together and prepare for the next part. Visually, I took the challenge of taking the time to improve the graphics. In this part, you see more blur, color corrections, and sharper images to make everything look nice.
