Just wanted to say how much I enjoy following you along the journey that is Buffy The Vampire Slayer; there is no other show I enjoy watching again and again and every reactor brings something that is theirs and special (slight addiction to Buffy reactions here ๐ you being one of my favorite, thinkings back to your first ever BTVS reaction I knew I would have an awesome very special time with you!) Not as good as the last two IMO, but it still nicely wraps up the Initiative storyline and ties together some of the themes of the season. I always felt like that closing scene with the Senator (?) had a sort of double-meaning, in the form of the writers acknowledging that the Initiative arc hadn't quite turned out as well as they hoped. It's an odd note to end a season on, though. ...Wait, what's that you say? There's one more episode left? Huh. Wonder what they have planned for that. ๐

2022-07-27 19:31:27 +0000 UTCA little thing about this episode I appreciate: Giles says it will take โ5 minutes, give or takeโ for the spell to kick in at 36:00. At around 37:00 we see the first shot of the magic being performed, and the spell hits Buffy at around 42:02; so 5-6 minutes depending on how you count. I do like it when time passes correctly.
