Introducing our newest surrender!

I just wanted to take a minute to introduce you guys to our newest emergency pet surrender. His name is Timmy and he is a 22 year old ringtail lemur! You might notice his eye and yes, he does have cataracts.
We do have a home lined up for him that has experience in lemur care, but until theyβre ready for him he will be in our care. Currently, weβre getting him acclimated to a new environment and new people. Weβre also working on getting him adjusted to a lemur friendly diet! In the video he is munching on his new leafy lemur pellets which he really seems to enjoy!

We see a variety of the critters in wildlife films and suchβ¦but itβs so much more rewarding to see them in your handsβ¦up and close. This guy is a real cutieβ¦and that lemur pellet looks pretty yummy too πΎππΎ
