Added 2022-12-19 06:31:00 +0000 UTCCurrently I don't really differentiate between the support levels. I have just figured, "support at the level you feel comfortable with," and call it a day. But it would be naive of me to just assume that's the way to run this without asking the community. So I'm making a poll. This poll will determine if I buy Twitter or not.
Note: When I say voting I want to be super clear about what that means. Every once in a while I run into decisions that I'm completely on the fence about. Most of the time they are small things, but sometimes they are big things. Voting would mostly be about hair color choices, or outfit decisions that I'm not really attached to one way or another. Voting will not be about major decisions about the course of the game. Anything made by committee will lose its vision over time, and that's not the approach I want to take with this game. So don't be worried that I'm going to suddenly go off the rails on voting, but also be disappointing that I won't be adding in your favorite FF14 OC to the game.

I think anything being put to a vote should be just that; a standard vote where every person gets equal voting privileges.

If the primary person running the patreon is an artist, yeah sure have a poll at the $10+ tier that chooses what character gets some NSFW bonus art, why not. For games I don't think it's that simple. Regardless, I'm going to go complain that my FF14 OC isn't in the game because this is bullshit, my FF14 OC should be in every game where is my voting poll for my FF14 OC.
