I don't have much to report this time around. I've been covering the thought process pretty well so far... and now I risk repeating myself. BUT, here goes anyway. Everything going on now in the background is lead up to the waitress update. I have the mini game for that essentially designed. I just need to actually implement it.

Which leads to more pacing. The current pacing of the game isn't what the final version will look like. Long term I plan on adding in more in-between scenes and more properly tier what activities happen at what corruption. Currently I'm also thinking about what is fun for the player supporting the project along the way. So I focus on keeping the action moving with each update. Then later I'll come in and sprinkle in the in-between scenes. Like how I added in the shower scene or the pillow hugging scene later. I'll keep doing that. Every update will have small additions like more sprites for the characters. Just keep in mind the waitress mini game will be a lot of resources so when that update comes in a few months I'll likely just be that one mini game. But also keep in mind that the waitress game, like the bartending game, won't be completed in one update. There is just too much activity for it to be completed in a single update. So it'll get developed over the course of 0.3-0.6. Same with the lounge from 0.6-0.9.

This also leads to an issue I'm counting on popping up: too much shit to do every day. Bartend, waitress, lounge, brew, explore, etc etc. So long term I plan on adding in the ability to... have someone else work that shift instead.
