Sunday Update v0.2.9.5?! Edition

Hey everyone. So v0.2.8 is out and the next one is v0.2.9. I've always had in mind that v0.3 would be the next big milestone and the start of the waitress mini game. Also I want pretty much everything leading up to that update properly balanced and so on before I get there... So until the build up is properly done I'll be using some smaller update integers till we get to v0.3.

Does this mean we are officially in indy adult game development hell? In 6 months will we be at v0.2.9.9.7?

No. I don't plan on doing more than 3 total updates before v0.3 is ready.

So what are the milestones I want to hit before rolling out the waitress game?

1. Update the brewing. Build a proper minigame for it if I think it works or just simplify the whole process.

2. Fully flesh out the bartending game. I might still add other skills in the future, but in general I want to really have it in a state I think is mostly done before moving on to the next mini game.

3. Flesh out the v0-v0.3 economy. The waitress minigame will likely fuck up the economy all over again, but I want all the lead up to it to be done and balanced properly.

4. Get some of the early game endings put in. Now many of these will tie into early v0.3 development. Lots of the escape endings involve the cyborgs. But I do want to get a proper "Catherine escapes with strings attached" ending.

So there you have it. That's our current roadmap as far as development goes. As far as new scenes? There will still be at least 2 scenes in every update regardless of what else is going on. Oh except the actual waitress update. That one is going to take up pretty much all of the game's artist, Genno's, time.

Lastly... I'm not sure if I can get it in or not but when I do this Friday's chud update I'll be slipping in a surprise update. You might notice the last update was, in my opinion, a bit light on content. This is because I'm working on some things... and well I'll let it stay a surprise for now.
