Sunday Update: Voice acting edition
Added 2023-07-30 23:55:59 +0000 UTCThis week had a really great surprise release with the addition of voice acting to the first training scene. I will be working closely with Eronaise. Check out her Twitter... or X? for some great samples. She has a great range and makes for a great Catherine. We will be advertising the partnership more once we can throw together a proper advertisement.
I'm working on some other big stuff for the next update that I'm excited for. The scenes are getting better and better. I'm also fucking with the sound a lot to make it so you don't have to play the game on like 5% sound and I have to mess with all the audio files so the send effects aren't drown out by the music. So if the next update comes out and it's super quiet then turn up the rpgmaker volume. I'm worried about Android release being too quiet and I know almost nothing about how Mac handles the sound. So input will be real helpful as I do future releases with a big change in sound. The reason I'm doing all this is so the voice acting sounds good and doesn't look quality.

The sound honestly is only a bit loud on mac, so Im not sure you need to change it too much for us.

IO: "That is a Chud." Catherine: 0.0 "A WHAT?!?" IO: "A Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dwell-" Catherine: "I know what a Chud is, IO! What's one doing here?" Then Fedora!Chud shows the flyer as usual.

Stimulant doesn't seem to serve much purpose as long as I'm keeping the social status active, and I restore energy every night...maybe it could restore shift time as well? Wishing for lore-laden conversations with the other roofdwellers other than 'go away i'm busy'
