Sunday Update: Sewer stories in 5 minutes edition.

Writing a single event in this game takes at least a couple of hours. The sexy events take longer because the pacing matters so much. It's wild to spend two hours making an event, play testing it, and finding out it really only takes a few minutes to experience. But you know what? That's a few more minutes of content in the game. Still... it gets overwhelming sometimes. 

So right now I'm building more events for the sewer. Long term I plan on a collection of sewer themed scenes. These will likely appear in the upgrade screen as their own section. At first I was going to make the sewer upgrades their own screen you access in the sewer itself, but it really seems better to keep all the upgrades in one location. 

Expect the next update to be lighter on scenes with the number of art upgrades. I will be adding in more voice acting to the training scenes to make up for it.

Lastly, I plan on the waitress update to be three updates from now. I'll have two updates that fill in art, fix a bit of the old art, and add in more scenes that will wrap up most of the v0.3 content so the game can move onto the next major section. I would like to have the brewing mechanic revisited by then as well, but only if I find a mechanism I like by then.

As far as realizing you spent 2 hours making 5 minutes. You should also consider that if 12 people experience that event then that's collectively 2 hours, and if 120 people experience it then that's 20 hours, etc. The time is definitely worth it. :)
