Sunday Update: Mecha Chongo Edition

First off let me tell you how happy I am to be working with https://twitter.com/MichSpich for this pixel art. They really did capture the essence of Chongo here. They are hammering out these sprites real fast. I'll have the entire cast of the game re-done in no time. If you need pixel art for any reason I would suggest hiring them.

I'm also happy to say that all the art for the next update is in. So I have two whole weeks to write the scenes and update the dialogue. This is also part of my master plan: Project Take Christmas Off Next Year. Where I get enough art ahead of schedule that I have at least one update worth of material so I can have a whole update ready to go so I can take a month off during the holidays.

The next update will include Alexa's new job, Catherine post waitress scene, a bunch of standing pictures that were always missing (like cyborgs and generic chuds) and a tun of pixel art. It's funny because this is stuff that no one might really care about. If Chongo has a default RPGmaker sprite or if he has this awesome custom one, but for me getting every single aspect of the game updated and non-rpgmaker as possible is a constant goal. I want the final product to be something I can be proud of from scene art, to sound, to music, to pixel art.

Also, I mentioned in the Discord that when I support a project I feel like a real smug motherfucker. Like real "pat myself on the back" energy. It wasn't till a few years ago that it even occurred to me that supporting projects was a thing. So when I found out there was a real easy way to support creators I jumped on that and I felt real good about it. So thanks for the support you smug motherfuckers. Know that your valuable money goes towards drawing cum on windows and Chongo in a wheelchair.
