Holstaur Fact File: Bekibeki

Bekibeki fancies herself as a bit of breastmilk-sommelier, being able to tell not only which variety of holstaur the milk came from, but what their diet consists of, and even what their favorite fruits and vegetables are. She can tell if the holstaur was happy, or sad, or bored or upset from the way the milk plays on her tongue. She says that a happy hucow makes 'springy' milk that almost leaps off the tongue. But if the holstaur is gloomy, than the milk is sort of 'flat', and just rolls down your throat without much fanfare.

Having such a refined palette means she is also interested in the processes that go into milking. While iron is EXTREMELY hard to come by due to violent, almost indestructible iron slimes eating most of the reserves of iron ore in Kirlan, there are other metals, such as tin, or copper that have been used to make very rudimentary, hand pumped, very expensive milking machines. So imagine her surprise and delight when she found a pair of what seemed like brand new milking machine nozzles just lying in the forest!

Without a second thought, she clasped the jug nozzles to her dripping buds. But no sooner than she had, the suckers morphed, showing their true form, MIMICS! These Breast Pump Mimics are sentient creatures that crawl on their slithering tube like bodies. When they sense a lactose-gifted woman approaching, they freeze, taking on the appearance of a highly valuable set of milking machine nozzles, biding their time till their next feeding!

They aren't deadly, and often fall off after having their fill, but their hideous, gulping faces aren't what most women would like to have drinking their breastmilk!

She's a bosomy buffet for sure!

She'd probably say eat more citrus, which ironically, is what lactating women should avoid.

Milking nozzles in a forest? That sounds like comedian Bill Engvall's bit about a Dorkfish, just a really goofy looking fish, finding a fishing hook baited with a corn dog underwater. Dorkfish wonders what a corn dog is doing underwater, but Dorkfish still LOVES him some corn dogs! [Bill and I have the same twisted imagination.] Great work on a holstaur who could suggest dietary changes to me based on what my gonad goobers taste like.

Well at least the Mimics are having one hell of a meal. They'll probably be fed for three days by the time they're done.
