Holstaur Fact File: Svyetllana (pronounced Svet-yaa-NA)

This bouffanted nineteen year old beauty is AlmaLu's younger half-sister, though at six-feet, seven-inches she's hardly her little sister. Her father is an elf thatcher who met her mother while he was repairing the roof of the barn one early autumn day nearly two decades ago.

Strict ideas about monogamy aren't as prevalent in Kirlanian society. It is a world where mutual pleasure reigns supreme. And it is in the simple pleasures of life that Svyetllana dwells.

She loves peace, COMFORT, and home. One of her favorite hobbies is to collect enchanted plushies, like her plush troll. It's a pet you never need to worry about feeding, or picking up after, and it lives for the entire life of its owner. They can be playful, mischievous, or amorous depending on the wishes of the owner when they have one of their dolls made.

There is actually a really fine craftsman right in Medowlyn who specializes in creating these living dolls. He is in extremely high demand, but he always makes time for lovely holstaurs like Svyetllana.

In fact, it was Svyetllana who gave AlmaLu her living plush tentacle monster for her birthday last summer.

You can always tell when a holstaur was born by her patterns and tail color.

As you can see, she loves to also keep her stall simple with only a hook and a peg to place her collar and ear tag on.

Some first time visitors to a dairy farm find it odd that the hucows prefer sleeping on piles of straw, rather than a bed. But they have to keep in mind that the first holstaurs, as created by the Goddess Astitia, slept out in the open on soft grasses beside the lake were they first appeared. It is this trait, the love of feeling grasses and natural elements against their body, has been passed down from generation to generation.

So, nestled in her bed of straw, her troll, Hughburr, tucked beside her udders, Svyetllana is ready to drift off to dreamland.
