Eve & Swain Process Shots

Sometimes when painting a face I'll dread the 'fixing' process because there's always something that's off. Usually this feeling comes from knowing that something needs to be resolved but not quite knowing how.
This time around I felt a lot better approaching things and referred back to my studies to remind myself of the new techniques I learned.
Painting Swain's face was really fun, I haven't painted a male face in a long time, and not in this much detail. I really enjoyed painting the wrinkles and his scowl, it was great practice for drawing anatomy too!
It's always very weird drawing fan art for League of Legends, the splash art for the female characters always vary wildly because different artists will paint them. And in this case there were details in Eve's splash art that were not present, and some that weren't represented in the 3D model either. For example her forearm is pink and then her upper arm is dark blue, as presented in the model. However, her splash art shows her arm being completely black with hot pink highlights on just the fingers!
I decided to stick with what I saw in the model, I really liked having part of the arm pink and a dark blue/purple transition.
