Hello everybody 😊 How are you?

First of all, I want to apologize for my absence for almost a week now! You didn't deserve that and I want you to know that I did my best to work on CC, I really really do! ❤

But unfortunately, because of TS4's last drama and my name still on a "suspected creators" list, despite my many requests for deletion, I have realized that my Human Rights had been violated multiple times for 7 years now and that I can't handle this anymore. 

The accusations against me for 7 years now, including claiming Early Access CC creators have to follow the rules of 2-3 weeks before public releases, it's in fact false and without any legal basis.

So I have decided that from now on, I would no longer put my health at risk to avoid and please those who are making false allegations against me. The proof is they did it again. 

For the moment I will only share my public releases on TSR, only the CC I want and when I feel I have enough time and energy to do so.

Last Sunday, I was working on a future long term CC collection I want to keep secret for the moment 😛 And I was trying to find a way to create a custom ceiling that allows us to see through it when playing. 

I gave it a try for a couple of hours to create my own ceiling tiles you can actually play with (not only for taking screenshots) and I have found it 😍 BUT (there is always a "but" with CC ^^) then the textures wasn't seamless anymore, which is particularly ugly 😂 I have tried many different ways to do, changed all the warehouse information, asked for advice, etc... but The Sims 4 is simply made the way this type of content is simply impossible to make without having to modify their code (skills I still don't have) for keeping a seamless texture.

But it was almost invisible from the top and very easy to play with 👍

So, instead, I have made a default ceiling replacement recolour. It is applied to every ceiling we make and we can have only one at once on our mods folder,  that's the annoying part 🙃

If you want too to play with my default ceiling replacement recolour:

You need to be aware that I have contacted the original creator to ask him/her permission to share it with you too but as he/she is a retired CC creator, I'm doubting I'll receive an answer.

There are two ways for you to play with it:

1/ Use the .package file you'll find in the attachments of this post of my recolour only for your personal use

2/ Follow the easiest CC recolour tutorial below 😛

The easiest CC recolour tutorial

You'll need:

• Sims4Studio
• A zip file extractor 
• My seamless texture in the attachments "Sims4Luxury - Seamless white wood panelling texture" you'll place anywhere on your computer such as your desktop for example

1/ The original file Default replacement ceiling was made by Wykkyd and is freely available here - download it

2/ Open the zip file and extract any of the .package files anywhere on your computer. 

3/ You can change the name of the file by a custom name if you want to be sure you'll don't have duplicate files in your mods folder that can cause issues. Also, be sure you don't already have a default ceiling replacement CC at once in your mods folder. Only one at a time can be used without issues.

Then, open the file with Sims4Studio and click import:

4/ Find and double click on my "Sims4Luxury - Seamless white wood panelling texture.png", click on the save button and install your recolour into your usual TS4 mods folder and tadam 😛 You'll have in your game the same final result as you can see on the very first image of this post.
