I still didn't finish any CC for the Farmhouse - Kitchen collection but here is what I made the last days:
1/ Wall light
I started to mesh a similar wall light as Liz Marie has at the top of her Kitchen's windows. I made as many details as possible for once to make it looks realistic so, I can't guarantee you that at the end of the process, I'll be able to respect the 2000 TSR's polycounts limits :(
Then, KateSimblr suggested creating a version with a cable and a switch button this way we'll be able to use it in different situations such as in the bedroom for example.
I first made the version #1 with an unperfect cable and Indoorsim pointed out that if we use it more than once in the same room, it will then not look natural anymore, so I created the version #2 with a straight cable but now it simply looks too perfect to be real π So, my next goal is to create a "in-between" version π
I will have to create the version with a cable first before following all the processes for the simple version without cable if I want to save many hours of work. So you might expect me to share with you the cable version before the simple one π
2/ Cutting board
As I'm planning to create shelves for the kitchen to be decorated with utensils, I started with a simple mesh as a cutting board with a hook.
3/ Pitcher
Yesterday morning I found this pitcher *here* and thought it matches well a farmhouse style and could be a great addition to decorate the future shelves so I made several meshes and then with the collab team we decided to keep this version (even if it's not exactly the same ^^).
4/ Modular shelf
To match the modular wall panel from the previous collection, I'm working on a separated shelf to give us more flexibility π
5/ Liz Marie's kitchen shelves
Yesterday, I spent the entire afternoon trying to find a solution to create the exact Liz Marie's kitchen shelves but ... in 1 tile in-game and ... modular! Even my mum and dog were trying to help me π
But unfortunately, we didn't get the solution. Every time we needed to modify something such as not having the same space between 2 shelf support or not the same amount of hooks, etc...
So, I'll make the purple version. I'll cut the shelf support in the middle and place them at the very corner of the shelf. When duplicated several times, the corner shelf support will be half the size of the one in the middle.
BUT! If you have a better idea/solution, you're free to share it in the comment ππ
6/ Liz Marie's kitchen corner
Look at what Indoorsim sent us this morning π Looks like a professional designer's work, isn't it? π³π This way it will save me so many hours to start working on the 3D models to create the most similar kitchen corner π₯³π
