I hope you're all good ๐
Here is a news post today! If you want to keep the surprise of what I'm working on, please skip this post ๐

Even if I worked on CC for more than 40h last week and 9h yesterday, I'm sorry I still don't have any fully finished CC to share with you yet ๐ข
Here is where I am about the current WIP Farmhouse - Kitchen Collection:
1/ Wall light with a cable:
- I finally made an "in-between" 3D model version of the previous wall light with a cable in Shapr3D. The cable is now not totally straight or totally curved and this version was approved by the team.
- Then, I opened it in Blender and with no surprise, the number of polycounts is very very high and can't be compatible with The Sims 4. It has 176k polycount. I already knew it and also that even with a lot of time and effort, I wouldn't be able to keep all the details and respecting at the same time the TSR polycount limits (2k poly per in-game's tile). But my goal is to lower the number of polycounts as much as possible, make it compatible with TS4 and keep as many details as possible too.
- I started to remesh and/or simplify some parts of the model but still didn't finished this process yet. The entire model has 45 single parts and I remeshed/simplified 15 of them. We are now at 54k polycounts, which is still too much (in my opinion).
- The next steps are now to: 1/ remesh and/or simplify 30 single parts of the mesh 2/make it compatible with Sims4Studio 3/ create textures/swatches 4/ work the light effect 5/ previews and share with you ๐

2/ The kitchen island
- I started to work on the Liz Marie's kitchen island ๐ It took me around 6 hours to create the entire mesh and when I felt happy with the final version, I continued the process in Blender as usual to remesh and reduced the number of polycounts.
- I spent my entire yesterday's afternoon trying to create the most similar texture as the photos I took as references but I might admit that... it's not exactly the same ๐๐ญ
- The next steps are now to: 1/ create at least 2 other swatches 2/ adding as much slots as possible everywhere its needed 3/ Make previews and share the CC with you โค

Kitchen island's first swatch preview in-game
3/ New REEL on Instagram
I created a reel for Instagram showing some CC about the Farmhouse - entry collection which can be seen on *here*

4/ Random 3D models

I made in Shapr3D three random, simple and quick meshes to decorate the kitchen. Next steps: Blender, Substance, Sims4Studio, previews and share ๐ฅณ

What I'll do this week:
I'm going to the south of France from July, 13th to July, 21st to visit my best friend for her 30's birthday ๐ฅณ
During my trip by train for 7 hours tomorrow, I'll be able to work on Shapr3D so I'm planning to start (and hopefully finished) all the 3D models needed to create the Liz Marie's kitchen corner/built-in cabinets:

From July, 14th to July 17th included, it will be a long weekend for my best friend's surprise birthday with all our childhood friends and also for our National Holiday.
Almost nobody is working on those 4 days in France so we used to meet our loved ones during that time โค๐ So, to be honest, I don't think they will let me work on CC or I'll all disappoint them.
Then, from July, 18th to July, 20th included, I'll stay there but as everybody will be at work, I'll be able to work (almost) as usual. Depending on if Blender is working correctly or not on my laptop, I'll continue my 3D work or I'll choose to work on rugs, floors or very very simple meshes like the random ones above.
On July, 21st, again a train trip but of 9h this time ๐ญ๐ So again, I'll be on Shapr3D working on cabinets (to finish them if not already) or on kitchen counters ๐
Anyways, I'll do my best to share with you during that time as much CC as possible without reducing the quality.

I wish you all the very very best and thank you so much for your support ๐โคโค๐๐
