Hello everyone π€
I'm still working on the next mesh so I thought you'll be happy to see what it is before I'm sharing it with you π
I found this barstool (a long time ago ^^) and thought it would match well the Kitchen Island I made for the [WIP] Farmhouse - Kitchen Collection. So, I tried to create the exact same shape as what we can see in this picture:

But it ended with a 3 million polycounts mesh πππ
Then I made a second version with this time 36k polycounts with is better and I was able to reduce it to 4k (which still can't be allowed to be shared by TSR because they are allowing 2k per tile) but if I want less I will need 1/ delete all the buttons details 2/ or create straight feet).
As I think 4k would hardly slow the game of the majority of players, I'm making the choice to keep the 4k poly version but I'm really open to reading your opinions about this β€
Here is where I am at the moment:

- The mesh is composed of 93 single parts I reduced one by one the number of polycounts making sure I'm keeping as much the same look as before.
- Today I'm deleting one by one all the faces of every single part of the mesh which don't need to be textured at the end because we can't see them anyway.
To show you an example:

One of the 93 single parts of the mesh is having 2 faces attached to 2 others so we will never see them. They should be deleted to be sure they will not use spaces on my future UV map (which created a blurry texture to my first kitchen island version).
Sometimes I'm deleting faces I should not which is creating a hole in the mesh And I'm discovering it... at the end πππ

If you're interesting, one day I could record my Ipad screen to show you how I mesh my model with Shapr3D on Ipad. If you're enough interested in this I'll take the time needed to create the video and upload it to show you here π Let me know in the comment π

With a lot of love and a huge amount of grateful feelings for your amazing support, I'm wishing you all the very best πβ€β€
