I hope you're all having a wonderful week and fun plans for the upcoming weekend!

I'm coming today to share with you the new swatches/textures I created for my kitchen to allow you to use them in a darker interior decoration than the swatches created for the Farmhouse Collection.

It took me longer than expected because as I modified my texture process, I had lighting rotation issues I did not get with my previous workflow. But I think it was worth it as I had more control over details, especially on worn edges/textures which gives a better look in my opinion.

If one day I create a new full kitchen, I will create separated .package files for each counter and cabinet to keep as many details as possible.

Description:

The .zip folder below contains 5 files (no new meshes) for a total of 36 swatches:

counters - 5 meshes - 3 swatches - low poly <2000 per tile
cabinets - 7 meshes - 6 swatches - low poly <2000 per tile
small island - 13 swatches - mid-poly <2500 per tile
barstool - 13 swatches - mid-poly <5000 per tile
sink - 3 swatches - mid-poly <3500 per tile

All of them are using the same meshes I created for the Farmhouse kitchen but with different swatches/textures with

black wood
worn brown wood
black/grey and white tiles
dark marble
bronze handles

This combination of black and marble was made to give you the possibility to use this kitchen in a more modern house or in a gothic interior such as in this picture below from the Instagram account Benmyhre. It's a great source of inspiration.

I'm now working on curtains (no sheer ones yet unfortunately 😭) and next week would be around the bedroom.

The complete Dark Academia (2) collection should be fully finished with a KateSimblr's matching build in early May 😛 (but we can never predict issues or personal delays).
