A New Collection Idea! ✨

Lately, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about starting a brand-new collection. There’s so much that’s been inspiring me recently, but I’ve realised that many of these ideas don’t quite fit into my usual favourites—Farmhouse, Dark Academia, Hamptons, or even Shabby Chic. And yet, I can’t help but feel that these inspirations could complement and enrich what I already create.

So, after a lot (and I mean a lot 😆) of reflection, I’ve decided that I really, really want to open a new collection: Modern Heritage.

As the name suggests, this collection would be all about blending the timeless elegance of classic, historical influences with the functionality and sleekness of modern, modular design. Think refined details, rich textures, and a sense of heritage—balanced with clean lines, neutral palettes, and contemporary materials.

First Piece of Modern Heritage – Let’s Decide Together!

Now, onto something exciting! Yesterday, I started working on the first-ever piece for the Modern Heritage collection in Shapr3D. The design is inspired by this beautiful piece:

I wanted something versatile that could easily adapt to different room layouts. Instead of creating a large, fixed unit, I decided to divide the furniture into a single modular piece, measuring 1 metre wide. This way, you can place multiple pieces side by side to extend the storage as much as you need! It’s still a work in progress, but I’d love to hear your thoughts before I finalise it! 😊

Now, let’s talk about functionality!

Here’s where I’m at right now in Shapr3D – the very first stage of my CC creation process (and honestly, the easiest and fastest part 😆).

💡 Important detail:

• If we go with TV stand, you’ll be able to place a TV on top, but it won’t function as a bookcase.

• If we choose bookcase, you’ll be able to buy and read books with it and still mount a modern TV on the wall above—so you get the best of both worlds!
