Episode 133 Extras: Full Interview between Aly & "C"
Added 2023-03-01 20:00:01 +0000 UTCA note from Aly: Here you can find the "full" interview between myself and "C", a former marine who was stationed on OP Rock and many other areas of Afghanistan throughout his time stationed in the country. I put "full" in quotation marks because, as with all the interviews I did for this episode, sometimes certain information comes out that the interviewee asks me to remove retroactively for a variety of reasons. I have always honored these types of requests, and this interview was treated no differently. In this case, most of the names used in the published versions of the stories are actually pseudonyms. Because of this, C asked me to remove some personal details regarding a few of his fellow soldiers who were killed in combat and can no longer speak for themselves. War is Hell, and I so appreciate C's perspective and candidness with me.
