My college major was film and let me tell you… from my perspective, all the lost audio or other things that go awry is so normal, especially when you’re the only one(s) handling all equipment from start to finish. When you have a person dedicated to overseeing audio and a person dedicated to overseeing video while you’re only responsible for “being” the content, there’s less room for error. And still errors happen with a bigger team. I commend you both for doing it all yourselves!!!! ♥️ and when adding new equipment or software there’s bound to be trial and error to start. I’ll end by saying, I left my major in the past from the day I graduated because it’s easy to let external and internal criticism get you down. I look up to both of you so much for sticking to your vision and having lots of fun along the way. We are all here supporting you for not so you can make cookie cutter content but because you RADIATE as yourselves first and foremost since your very first episode, audio and video shenanigans to the wind!! ✨

You guys are so relatable and the hard work you put in really shows! On the one hand, I love your humility and “awkwardness,” but I also think y’all definitely have some imposter syndrome going on! Your show is the BEST, own it! Also, I have been playing Nancy Drew for almost 20(!) years and I own every game. PLEASE do some Nancy Drew streaming (maybe with Nat too, I would love to hear her reactions!). Also also, I have been playing Sims for about 15 years so that would be cool too (especially if you focused on occult Sims/building lots for occult Sims!). Actually, ND and the Sims are pretty much the only games I play, so you are the best Aly! P.S. The video and audio quality on this are fantastic. As a perpetually burned out PhD student, the fact that you and Nat work actual jobs and do LGH on the side inspires me so much! 🥹

From recording in closets and bathrooms... we know this is a learning experience. Patreon exists so people can support artists & content creators so those people can focus on the art & content. I hope this Patreon can 1) keep the space rented & lights on, 2) have Nat fly in for the episodes (is there a consistent cheap flight bn the 2 locations?), and for me 3) have you two go on crazy adventures like Area 51 or alien conventions, haunted hotels... see the places you've done episodes on. Think that would be an epic road trip! Heck, if you fly to GA and see all the haunted GA stuff with Nat. You're doing great. Both of you are doing great. We love & support what you're doing. That's why we're here. I used to hate Wednesdays. Now it's my favorite day of the week. Beats out Saturdays. That's saying something. 😀

I’d love more videos like Nat and Aly Go to ____, (would honestly watch a reality show about just you two lol) but realize that might be hard with three time zone difference! You could always do stuff like spooky book club, spooky movie club, extra tidbits from your research that didn’t make the episodes, stories that were too small for an episode but too cool to pass up, or even just have topic based conversations about non-spooky whatever—your banter is just too good. Perhaps the dust bowl.
