Digital drawing tablet recommendations?

I rarely use my personal social media anymore so this Patreon is basically my twitter. Does anyone have any recs for a digital drawing tablet? I currently have to use Freeform/MS Word/Paint/Preview for all the little simple graphics I make for the pod but I’d love to start saving for a tablet specifically for drawing. TIA to anyone who responds! - Aly

Invested in an Ipad for the apple pen and procreate. Very expensive, but I've been using it for years now, and it is so user friendly. Before working, I used Krita (open source) and Wacom (about $100).

Shamelessly plugging my favorite e-ink tablet, Remarkable 😍😍 The current model doesn't support color on the tablet itself (it's like a kindle you can write on) but will show some basic colors on the documents if you upload them to the Remarkable desktop app. It's literally the best thing ever for handwriting, highlighting in documents, bullet journaling, checklists, etc. Check out My Deep Guide on YouTube -- Voya has several wonderful videos on it alone and comparing it to other similar products (he also has a planner he designed for Remarkable that I love and use exclusively!). I'm happy to answer any questions you may have.

I loved my Wacom tablet for a long time and used illustrator and photoshop then. However after my MacBook died I purchased an iPad and oh my stars! I still occasionally use illustrator on the iPad but have done a pretty big shift to procreate. The IPad was also a much easier shift for me being a traditional artist.

My friends in OT school used procreate on their ipad and they were able to use a pen to make the most incredible notes over muscles, nerves, bones, tendons, ligaments, etc with great detail. I never personally used it but I was always impressed with the things they were able to do.
