split personality involves the fragmentation of one consciousness into parts. in the case of Gaara, each of the creatures is completely self-sufficient, and (spoiler) as we know are able to exist separately. Among other things, as far as we remember, there is not only the spirit of sand and Gaara (spoiler), but something else (I'm talking about what moves the sand shield)

Pervy Sage's name is Jiraiya. Just split it up, and you've got it: Ji-Rai-Ya.

But aren't "extra residents" in someone's body (or rather psyche) the defining feature of split personality disorder/DID? The fact that he is not generally in his ultra-psycho mood doesn't disqualify split personality, as long as he has two personalities he switches between.

You will be surprised, but Gaara does not have a split personality. These are rather extra residents in his small body. The fact that he is generally in an adequate state in his position is a real feat.

another Colette Naruto upload, what a lovely day :) you were as hyped as Naruto here thats great xD it looks as though Naruto bit off more than he can chew :P he just went through the biggest rodeo ever xD Gaara is 12 like our guys, Temari is the oldest she is 15, Kankuro is 14 :) it does suck for them that they now have to be used as weapons for their nation instead of just passing the exam and moving on in life :P but I guess Gaara doesnt mind :D its interesting seeing the differences between nations, villages, how they operate, I like the detail how their Kazekage is not very approachable, he is behind a curtain, while the Hokage is very open and doesnt mind spending time even with ordinary people :) heck yea Naruto wants everybody to know him and acknowledge him :D he did really well here he earned the respect he so much desired :) oh wow you recognized Gamabunta from ep 1 thats impressive, most people dont connect that at all :D for pronunciations its best to simply listen to the show how they are saying it you will catch it, but Gamabunta is as you say, farily simple :) I love episode 58, the horror episode, its so dope, they played with it very nicely :D Sakura still trying to care for Lee thats lovely :) Shikamaru is a great guy he is there for his buddies :) lucky for Lee our boys were there otherwise he was a goner :P Gaara doesnt need orders to kill people he will happily do it just because :D safe to say his childhood wasnt the sweetest :P btw the word on Gaara's forehead means LOVE :) this was a great time, cant wait for the next one :)
