(Maho Noir) orcs
Added 2024-03-18 14:02:56 +0000 UTCI've been trying to think how to make orcs feel more different than just big goblins-- which technically they were originally interchangeable in Tolkien, but I want to make them very different... so with having Fizee being established with green skin, I moved Gore to greys... but the hair and pointed ears were still there. They're going to have smaller ears still, but I'm thinking of having them be hairless.

I like the switch to grey, but the braids gave her personality. Plus, I think having clean, styled hair gives an air of...sophistication?...versus the trope of, "hey we love being dirty, grimy, and mud-caked., cuz we're orks!" Plus, braids give a warrior-vibe when done right. Finally, bald makes me think feral zombie. Just my $0.02.
