Rest well Reese <3 hang in there Mr. Boy, at least till I get home eh? Love you guys.
Thanks for the support everyone, means a lot. In Case I Die will be out some time in the next few weeks, and it'll be 20 solo performances of songs throughout my discography. I think the live sorta "unplugged" performances will show the emotional origins of some of these songs a bit more clearly. Then I'm finally done.

Grief is a nightmare, and I'm sorry you're going through all of this. I know that words can only help so much, but I'm very sorry about Reese, and hopefully Mr. Boy will hold out at least a bit longer. I wish you the best, man.

My oldest, who my family had had since I was five, was put down due to kidney failure and diabetes, and then my youngest who I found passed after a car accident. The first one we were ready to say goodbye to, we all knew he was leaving soon so we could all be with him when he left, but the youngest one already gone when I found her. She was lying in the garden, at least she made it home before she passed, but it hurts to know that she was alone in her last moments. It's hard when all you have left are memories, and it's even harder when those memories start to fade, but the love is always there. I can only listen to this song every three weeks or so cause it makes me cry without fail, but it's helped a lot to hear these feelings put into words. I'm sorry for your loss and I wish you and Mr Boy all the best. Thank you for the music.

I never felt a song put my feelings into words so perfectly. It will forever be in my heart. Ever since I heard your Self-Ish album in 2021(?), your songs have always resonated with me and spurred me to write more. And my first concert ever was your In Case I Make It concert in Seattle, Washington. I had an amazing time, and I still wish I could relive that night. So, thank you for putting your work and emotions out there for all of your fans to enjoy and empathize with. I hope you have a great rest and find your passion wherever else it is. I'm just happy I was able to support you this year before. And I hope you recover well from your own grief.

2022-12-09 06:32:48 +0000 UTCYeah, I don't think it's likely I'll be feeling much of a drive to do the whole Will Wood thing for at least a few years if ever again. I might do some recordings with friends for fun, but I can't see myself writing songs the way I used to any time soon. Could be wrong though, I can't say I understand the process that well. I won't be consistently on here; once my hiatus officially begins I don't plan on doing any posting myself unless there's a necessary update. 4-5 live videos are scheduled to go out every month in my absence. I plan to stop by toward the end of 2023 to give a general update, but I've got videos lined up all the way till October 2024.
