I can't imagine seeing this song live and I can't comprehend how he can just play it. My baby boy had to be put down in August and this song straight up breaks me every time I hear it. I've got dozens and dozens of listens on his other stuff, I've been able to listen to this song maybe 7 times total

2023-02-26 19:59:01 +0000 UTCThis song tastes like cinnamon and marshmallows for me, and has this kind of Earthy colour palette to me, it always reminds me of the friends I've lost and the time we spent together before they both passed away, I one day hope to channel all those feelings and memories we shared into a song as rough and lyrically raw as this one. Its beautiful but a little scary for me to listen to, but I feel like it comforts me in a strange way to get my priorities in order, and see that everything I'm worried about can usually be solved, death really throws everyday 'human problems' into sharp relief I suppose. I think this and the ICID version are prime examples of that.
