My mom is from Texas and my dad said that the first time he met her family one of my uncles told him that "Here we drive Ford and drink Bud. Please don't hurt my sister." My grandpa was a lot bigger of a hurdle than my uncle apparently. Dad said grandpa mentioned something about there being a lot of farm and multiple tractors capable of digging nice and deep should the need arise XD
