Changes coming

So! I've had a good rest and a nice ol' think about where to head from here. You may have noticed I have paused this page for another month:

Don't worry this wont be a huge wall of text, and there'll be more posts incoming to go over the situation as a whole.

THE ISSUE

I have always tried to be a people pleaser and, by this stretch I think the goals I set on this Patreon went WAY above my head. This resulted in multiple rewards each month that, while a pleasure to do, ended up rushed in certain aspects and did not convey my usual quality or standard of work. Also, there were often delays meaning you guys did not get your rewards as quickly as I would have liked (outstanding rewards are on their way but please touch base with me if you think I have forgotten to send a reward to you)

On top of this, my full time job is speeding ahead, resulting in me having no time left for personal projects/comics etc. etc. Whinge whinge, woe is me!

I LOVE art. I love making it, I love interacting with you guys and helping bring characters to life. It is not fair to your or your characters (or your money for that matter) for me to not be able to put 200% into my pieces. I would hate to be fully burned out and I would hate to let you amazing people down.

THE SOLUTION

This is not set in stone (comments and suggestions are ENCOURAGED), but I have paused the March payments to give people a chance to change their pledges before these proposed changes are put in force:

1. Raffles will no longer be every month but on a random basis HOWEVER, I will make them available to ALL tiers (perhaps higher pledges = more tickets? not sure). Raffles will no longer be tied to just digital art but will include real media, stickers etc.

2. For future commissions I will have set slots and if full, will not be accepting further commissions. I may have a 'Patron only' single commission slot as an incentive, please let me know your thoughts.

2. All Patrons will have a code for 25% off my Etsy store and commissions, including conventions. Current Patrons will have this benefit doubled to 50% as my thanks to you.

3. With the time freed up from the first point, I will try to impose a minimum set amount of times I will do livestreams of my art. This was always the most fun I had and would allow me to do personal projects while still interacting with you guys.

4. I will upload a LOT more art on here. There are a lot of WIPs and design processes that are sitting on my computer that I could share on here for Patrons.

5. I was lucky enough to buy a very good video editing software on HumbleBundle for cheap. I will be producing videos of my art processes and am setting up some private YouTube links for you all to access.

6. I have pieces in the pipeline waiting to be made into prints/stickers/badges that I'm hoping can be Patron early-access exclusives
