What Should I Work On Next? 🤔
Added 2023-10-02 11:55:17 +0000 UTCNow that TEXTURE is released, I need help deciding what to work on next 🙌 Here are the options:
- DRUMR - an update to DRUMR, my drum sound discovery tool, with better functionality and more samples
- INSPIR - a Max For Live tool to help you get out of creative blocks
- STEPS - a Max parameter sequencer (see previous post)
- HELPERS - Max utilities to help with common tasks (see previous post)
- WRAPPERS - custom Max UIs for VST plugins. These have proved INSANELY popular on Instagram. You can see examples of what this looks like here and here. I'm already close to done with wrappers for some Analog Obsession and Airwindows plugins.
- A Tutorial Video - I haven't done a tutorial video in a while... if this option wins I'll do another poll to decide the topic.

The DRUMR update I'm working on wouldn't be Max For Live - it's possible to build something like that with Max, but it ends up being a lot more flexible just as an Instrument Rack. At this stage it'd just be a minor update with some slight improvements, more samples, etc.

2023-10-26 19:55:13 +0000 UTCHey, good suggestions! I love the whole idea of DRUMR and would love to have a DRUMR Max For Live version. However, with the option of having your personal sample folders and having the possibility of infinitely randomizing them within it without the need to place samples within an Instrument Rack, I don't know if it's possible, but it's what I'd love to see in Ableton. A button that randomly generates drum fills with the selected pieces would also be super useful. 😊
