π§βπ« May Workshop Topic Requests
Added 2024-04-30 10:13:54 +0000 UTCHey! π
Its time to start taking requests for what you'd like to see covered in next month's workshop.
I've yet to finalise a date - I'll have more info on that soon - but for now, drop a comment below to let me know if there's anything you'd like to learn about π¬
The last 2 workshops have been Max For Live focused, so it could be good to switch it up and focus on something more inside of Live (I have a few ideas there) but I'm open to anything.
I look forward to hearing from you π
Thanks!
Tom

Balancing sounds within the song is mixing, not mastering. Mastering is a process applied to the overall final mix, but won't fix things if it is already balanced at the mixing stage. If your song is mixed well, there's not really much mastering you need to do. There are also other, more technical aspects to mastering like prepping files in the correct format, adjusting loudness, etc. But mastering in general is a great topic for future sessions! I'm thinking it won't be for this session, but maybe next month! π

2024-05-10 06:37:15 +0000 UTCIβd be interested in any compositional techniques you employ within Live. Iβd guess youβre quite a process-based methodical producer, and Iβd be interested to learn how you go about creating tracks.
