New Development Work-Plan
Added 2017-10-06 11:08:59 +0000 UTCHey there, folks!
We've been thinking a lot about our development work-plan and here is what we found out:
So far we've been developing the game using the "waterfall" work-plan. That means we were going through our roadmap from top to bottom, working on every feature individually, until it reaches a certain state. But after doing some researches, we learned that the "waterfall" plan better fits those massive kinds of games, that are being released by big professional developers (Ubisoft, EA, etc.).
For such a small development like ours, it is better to use another work-plan, which represents going in a cycle between features and improving them, instead of focusing on only the one.
Here is an example of how it looks:

This approach works better for games, that are being released early in their pre-alpha-beta versions.
Right now the game, honestly saying, is barely "playable" and looks more like a tech-demo. The "Development Cycle" plan will allow us to add multiple features in a short amount of time, and then upgrade and reinforce them with future updates. This is planned to make the game playable for you guys, even at the early stages of development.
A little update on the Anime Character:
For those who have participated in our latest poll and chosen the "must have" option, we are sorry, but we decided to stick with our current plan for now and focus on what is described above. However, the situation might change in the future.
Thank you!
