Mashima didn't write the arc, he gave some input on it, he straight up contradicts some of the stuff happening or being said in this arc in the next arcs.

What happened on Tenrou and the time skip is explained in episode 123 and 124 before the arc actually starts and no it's not important at all, it has no consequences or influence on the rest of the series, you can skip it and you will miss no relevant information or plot. If you like it and think it's worth the watch that's cool but it's simply not true that this arc is in any way necessary.

tbh I told him the same thing last update video. He really needs to stop making promises. Just try his best like you're saying, and if stuff gets out it does, and if it doesn't it doesn't. And anyone who can't deal with that long of a wait or that much inconsistency can leave and come back in a few months when there'll be at least a few more videos

Many people have already said this, but the next arc both is a filler arc and is not. It is an anime canon arc, of course meaning that in the anime it is fully canon and a need to watch. Explains what happened on Tenrou Island, explains the time skip, even has a story that ties to another previous canon arc. People are only calling it filler because it's not in the manga, but it's important, and worth the watch. If you just skip to the next manga canon arc, you'll have a bit of whiplash. Another thing worth mentioning however is that in the actual manga, this next arc is mentioned in passing, which left a lot of people asking questions when they originally picked it up. If you had to skip episodes, I'd only recommend watching the next episode, skipping the 2 or 3 after that one, then watching the next anime canon arc. But the short answer from me and many others seems to be "DO NOT SKIP THE NEXT 30 EPISODES OF 'FILLER' ARC" Hopefully that also puts into perspective how much is in this "filler" and how much you'd potentially miss out on after being told by many long-standing patrons not to skip and how it's anime canon. Anyways, hopefully with this comment and all the others like it, you do decide not to skip it.

The next Fairy Tail arc is canon to the story its a pretty good arc. I'm all for there being a vod library since I'm not always able to make your streams I just end up watching the edited versions on YouTube. I thought of an idea of you streaming games one day and the next one could be just you watching anime with the community but its up to you to decide.

Yes there is an anime-canon arc next. It is technically filler but since it was originally supposed to be part of the manga it is a canon part of the story. The author of the manga wrote this arc himself and was planning on including it in the manga but lacked the time to do so when the manga was being written at the time. You should definitely watch it. But you can skip the one shot filler episodes that are actual filler (like episodes 125-127). Or you can just watch those on your own time. The anime canon arc is episodes 128-150. The arc after this next anime-canon arc is my favorite arc I cant wait for you to get to the 150s 😁 Also thankfully Black Clover anime is not officially ending. It's just on hiatus and is going to become seasonal so that the author can have more time to write more chapters since the anime is catching up to the story so fast.

it's technically canon cuz it was supposed to be in the manga. The only reason it wasnt was because the author wasnt able to include it at the time he wrote it himself. I think he should watch it but i agree that he should skip the one shot fillers. Specifically 126

The upcoming arc is filler but in my personal opinion it is one of the best. You should definitely watch it. Also, Black Clover is not ending permanently. It is just going on hiatus while the author does more chapters.

The upcoming fairy tail arc is Not in the manga and is categorized as filler The arc its self is the lowest point in the show for my own personal feeling on it. If you want to watch it go for it. If you skip it you wont really miss that much. My recommendation is skipping 125-150.

The next arc is an anime original arc, but it's canon to the story and written by the creator/main writer. Don't skip it. Also BC hype. Next episode is supposed to be outrageous and rumors are a big deal animator was on board with it.

I also feel like Peacefinder Simply. It is always said that there will be new episodes soon, but then unfortunately nothing will come. I watch the episodes in sync and haven't seen the series before. I keep forgetting the content of the last episode and don't want to wait that long. That's why I'll be back in a few months.

If your work is being restricted by a lack of time due to editing, would you benefit from hiring an editor? It would ramp up the amount of content you could produce and draw in more viewers while allowing you to focus on the reactions and things that you enjoy doing. It'd be a big step forward, but depending on the revenue you're generating between Twitch, YouTube and Patreon, it may be worth it.

The next FT Ark is half filler half canon i would say. Its not hughly related to the main story, but it still give you some need aspects of some other characters with a very good story. It has some downs but i still highly recommend to watch it to get the full FT experience.

There's a filler arc in FT but there are so many canon things in it and some really hype moments (it has some boring moments too, but the good ones, you can't miss them)
