She has a fairy tale view of how her family will be but if she has kids and she thinkin 10-15 years her kids are going to want to tie rope instead of play with their holoprojection phone or console at a table she’s got another thing coming. Hope someone tells her one day what it’s like having parents who try to control your every action.

When she said that her nieces tend to get a lot of screen time at home I understood it as her trying to make sure they get a good balance, also cause I don't recall their ages and screen time at different ages makes a big difference, but I couldn't even imagine my life if I didn't get any screen time as a kid (around 10 years old i think, give or take a couple years)

I wasn't allowed to have a phone, or any private internet until halfway into high-school, and that fucked me up. I felt entirely isolated from everybody else when social life was based around whatever dumb apps. I had nothing in common with anyone else and it made it feel impossible to interact with my peers in school, like there was this whole world and culture that I just wasn't allowed into. It sucked

I remember reading people speculating whether it was insurance fraud. However, besides him not even caring about scamming his son in this episode, I don't think there was any evidence.

If you only have ten customers a day, being a top seller isn't particularly difficult or impressive. Especially if, as she says here, that's one of the most commonly ordered types of dish in that style of restaurant in the first place regardless of quality.
