Something came up...

Believe me when I say I had every intention of shooting the next workshop update video today. But when a listing for several thousand bolts pops up on marketplace for $300 (AUD), it's kind of a drop everything and run moment.

All the red bins are metric, and there's a good whack of imperial in the blue ones. I'll have to get myself some new taps.

Here's to never going to the bolt shop again (although I guarantee the first one I need for a project won't be among this ridiculously large assortment).

Will definitely be speaking to the camera tomorrow, so I'll see you then ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Something came up... Something came up... Something came up... Something came up...

I had a similar feeling in the US when I discovered the "clearance" section of the Grainger distributor chain. For less than 60 USD, I was able to get a large variety of (mostly) stainless steel bolts (almost all imperial) and lock washers (including silicon bronze - not sure when those will get used, but I have them!). The cost per bolt/screw was on the order of 0.001 - 0.05 USD. For stainless, including 18-8. Bonkers! Oh, and that was just at my local shop. I haven't yet looked to see all of the goodies I can get when I search nationwide for delivery.
