Now that I am getting used to this platform, I will commit to posting one update each week. I will share news about what I'm working on (before anywhere else). The updates will sometimes have bonuses too, like votes, behind-the-scenes videos, and sneak peaks.

I have been investigating making a Lisp-like language because I want to try out and learn from Lisp. I aim to have it generate rules for Color Code by Murilo Polese. I mentioned that engine in the Tourism video. It could look something like this. What do you think?
Top 9 ways to make MORE sand
I've been carrying on with trying to make bigger and bigger sand engines. This week, I made two more engines to experiment with this. To make the seventh engine, I wrote some concise C to generate WebAssembly. I seem to be able to get to processing 2 million atoms with it. For the eighth engine, I tweaked my old GPU engine, written in WebGL. On my computer, it seems to be able to get to around 9 million atoms running each frame. It does much worse on smaller devices though, like my phone (compared to the other engines). All the code is available here.
Video Plans
My next video is going to be the 'Top 9 ways to make MORE sand' (or something similar). The one after that will be down to a vote again! I think I will continue to alternate like this. Every other video will be down to a vote, and will be specifically aimed at people who are already following me (like Crime and Alphabet). Every OTHER video will be a more 'mass appeal' video (like Water and Tourism).
