Recreating the Past

I've been working away on this month's video! I now FINALLY have it mapped out (for real this time?), and the plan is this: Each part of the video will be made in the style of one of my older videos. It has been fun (and a little bit painful) to look back at my older videos and try to recreate them. This includes re-using music that appeared in old videos.

Because of this, it will certainly be a weird video! I'd say it's definitely aimed at people who know my channel already. I don't think it will be that good at generating new followers!

As part of this process, I'm looking forwards as well as backwards. And I've had to ask the question "What is the SandPond Saga?" Is it... about coding? Is it... a bit of fun? Is it... my way of expressing myself? I wonder what you think it is? Is there something that glues it all together?

For the video, I've started to make a little visualiser that will show a rough timeline of my past (and future) vidoes. It features a little froggy on an aeroplane, like in the Tourism video!

To help me with this, I've also been trying (AND FAILING) to make an easy-to-use 'tween' function in my javascript library: Habitat.

I made a total mess of it and it doesn't work very well. I'm gonna have to redo it! And soon, it'll be crunch time for the video! Stay tuned for more soon!
