Advent of Tode

I've been taking part in the Advent of Code! It's a fun challenge where you have to SAVE CHRISTMAS by solving programming puzzles every day. I've been using my Habitat library and MotherTode language to solve them as much as I can. It has helped me to identify some issues with both, which helps me to improve them!

I'm trying my best to make visualisations for each challenge! I'm posting them up on twitter and instagram (in case you want to see them). BY THE WAY - related to this, I'm also experimenting with a little library that helps me to (very quickly) mock up visuals. Hopefully I can put it into the Habitat library when it's ready.

Another thing! Patron (and Froggy Hero) Magnogen has been contributing to the Habitat library. They've improved the 'tween' function by allowing you to choose from different kinds of easing curves. Currently, you can pick from any of these. This might come in handy for future videos I make!

Off-Road

It's been a very busy week for me because I'm leaving my long-term job. It's sad to go, but it's also an exciting fresh start! This means I haven't done a lot of work on the next video yet. From this weekend onwards, I'm going to be working a lot on it.

I have done some planning though! I now know what tracks I will start and end with. I might need another one in the middle, if it gets too long.

End: Megastructure - Jaytech 

I also now know how the structure of the video will work. Remember how there were different versions of the "SandPond Saga" in the time travel video? For example, there was the "Sandpond Saga", "Sand-Pond Saga" and "PondSand Saga". Well, the next video will be from a variant series again... the "SANDPOND SAGA". And it will be a variation of the old tourism video.

As the video progresses, we'll hopefully visit more and more ridiculous destinations along the way.

With every video, I try to express a different 'feeling' that I feel. It helps me to process my emotions, in a strange way. With this next video, I would really like to express a feeling of excitement/exploration/dumb-founded-courage...? That's not a real phrase is it...

Either way, I hope I can get across a bit of "Let's go!" energy with the next video!
