๐ TODEPOND TIMES ๐
What's new this week?

Speak
Last week, I gave a short talk/demo at the Future of Coding meetup (here in London). In the talk, I gave a little intro about spatial programming, and I demo'd CellPond. Fortunately, the demo-section was filmed! You can watch it here.
To prepare for the demo, I made a bunch of new examples! And if you want to try them, you can find them all in the CellPond source code. You can copy/paste the contents of a file into CellPond to load it up. Or you can hit Ctrl+O. Or you can drag a file onto the page.
The talk went really well! And I was really pleased that people seemed to enjoy the demo. In February, I'm probably going to be doing another talk (here in London)!
Hopefully, we can help more people discover the wonderful+fun world of spatial programming!

Language
This week, I've also been working on my rewrite of MotherTode!
If you don't know, MotherTode is my programming language that I use to make other programming languages. It's a ๐ Language Language. I used an early version of it to make my first spatial programming language back-in-the-day (but it wasn't called MotherTode back then).
By the way, Advent of Code is starting soon. In Advent of Code, you get presented with a different programming challenge each day. And for the last two years, I've used it as a way of testing out MotherTode.
๐ธ In 2020, I tried out the first version of MotherTode.
๐ธ In 2021, I tried out a faster version of MotherTode.
๐ธ In 2022, I want to try out a clearer version of MotherTode that has better syntax + error messages.
So hopefully, it'll be ready! In the long-run, I'm planning on making a language for CellPond that can be interchangeable with the drag-and-drop interface. I've been thinking about it for a while...
Anyway, back to making the next video now :)
I say this again and again, but thank you so much for supporting me and my projects. It really means the world to me. Welcome to all my new patrons this week! And see you next time! ๐๐ธ๐
