hi, my rotterlings! i am back with more writing for you all <3

1. small town nothings. this was a game outline i was commissioned by choice of games to propose, with the folks you know and love (ther, ronin, etc)! it was pretty interesting situating them in a context that was more of a coming-of-age, quiet, and let's say... significantly less unhinged than my games.

small town nothings is based on an angelwood screenplay of mine, which focuses on the story of mia meadows. in the game, you essentially enter her shoes (or make your own OC!) following down the path she took in my screenplay.

at the time, i was pretty bummed out by the game not going forward, but considering that it not working out meant i set my sights on killer chat!... i think the trade was more than fair. i'm excited that i get to introduce some new faces to you, of the angelwood cast, who are very dear to me (sera, estelle, i'm looking at you...)

2. beauty is pain. this is your monthly thernin dose, with a massive heap of hurt/comfort to go with it. despite the collection's name, this story isn't set in angelwood — ronin and ther have gone into the city, now, and work in hotel angelique, which is where our story unfolds.
