i've been working on the expanded edition demo for killer chat! in preparation for our kickstarter launch, which will be happening (soon in the near future, as in, provisionally the next month or two haha) :3

• + changelog for the expanded demo:

  • haha im in danger.png

  • get down in the details™️ for ur alibi!

  • the serial killers can now be suspicious of you... if you mess up hard enough when making up an alibi 👀

  • which, yes, you can now die on day 1 omg (!!!)

  • horror meter (i wonder what this is for....)

  • friendship routes! you now get to dm whichever serial killer you want to strike up a friendship, as you lie your way into the server as a (supposed) serial killer. trust and believe, that is exactly who you are.

  • more clothing and customisation options!

  • expanded mc personality + persona! :D

  

  • desktop feature :D with a myriad of apps u can use, including:

    • a profiling app where you can see your character's personality, the other characters' relationship meters, information, and more! every writer needs to know what's up...

    • the infamous scriptorium writing app, which actually works oh my god, yes you can actually write killer chat! fanfiction in the scriptorium if you so desired. not that i'm saying you should, but you definitely could and should.

      • (may not be included in the demo even though it's functional - depends on whether i can find a way to work it into month 1 of the game!)

    • a virtual closet for you to swap out your fit when you're feeling it :3

    • achievements gallery! we are so back.

    • the other apps are not functional yet as of the demo, but if we get successfully funded then you will for sure see them in action!

      • nullnet (browse the darknet?!)

      • games (minigames?! if we get funded...)

      • music room for the tunes (singing soft grunge just to soak up the noise...) (lana del rey will not be included in the music room because i don't want to be sued)

      • wallpapers to customise your desktop experience!

  • and there is probably more i am forgetting, but this is the overview for now!

i'm hoping to put out an early playable build of the demo for my apotheotic rotterlings (and above), so apotheotics and saints can stay tuned for that once it drops later this month :D i'm really so excited for the changes and i can't wait for you all to experience killer chat! expanded edition, for real this time!
