Here it is, day two!

For the historical part, I chose to do the renaissance!

I'm not going to lie, I've developed a serious attachment to this story.

For the lore :

On one hand, we have Katsuki Bakugo, son of a great family of patrons high up in Florence politics. (Very much inspired by the Medicis)

And on the other, Izuku Midoriya, prodigy painter at Florence's art institute.

His mother, Inko Midoriya was a housekeeper for the Bakugo family, She looked after Katsuki for most of his childhood and befriended with Mitsuki.

When Inko fell sick, Mitsuki promised to take charge of her young son Izuku's education. But she would have to do it anonymously, because when you're a Bakugo, you don't pay for your maid's son's education.

After Inko's death, Izuku took refuge in painting and Katsuki completely shut off his feelings.

Years later, they would finally meet thanks to the great annual exhibition at Florence's art institute.

Izuku falls under the spell of Katsuki's charisma and beauty.

And Katsuki finds himself intrigued by this young man with such familiar pheromones.

For the making of :

It was so much fun to immerse myself in a historical period! I had to do some research on the costumes and paintings of the period, and I managed to place a few little references!

On the insert introducing Katsuki, you can see his family arms, inspired by the one of the Medici family (just upside down).

Izuku's painting of Katsuki is inspired by two real Mars paintings. “Venus and Mars” by Sandro Botticelli. And “The Rest of Mars” by Diego Velazquez.
