Oh also, sultanas are basically small raisins, so some of those cherries in the cake were just sneaky grapes!

Growing up in the uk I think I can remember the first time I had barbecue, I was a teen and it was an instant hit, still love my brown sauce though. I put a squirt of brown sauce in stews, gravy, in bacon and egg sandwiches, next to a shepherd's pie, all sorts 😋 glad you loved the jam and clotted cream too, a scone like that with a cup of tea is known as a cream tea over here, it's always a hit with my mum on mother's day!
